How to Prep
We use the purest 100% organic cotton on our diapers, so the fabric still retains many of the natural oils found in the cotton plant. These natural oils must be washed out of the fabric before using our diapers for the first time. Prep your cloth diaper before first use by washing 6-8 times. Test the absorbency by pouring a small amount of warm water onto the dry diaper; it should absorb instantly. If not, wash a couple more times and try again. Dry on warm/hot at least 2-3 times before first use; this will help shrink the cotton fibers and increase their ability to absorb.

1. Remove as much solid waste from diaper as possible. This can easily be done either by using a biodegradable liner or a diaper sprayer.
2. Run a rinse or short wash cycle on warm without detergent.
3. Run a heavy-duty wash on warm/hot with the recommended amount of detergent for your washing machine.
4. If you have soft water we recommend doing an extra rinse at the end of the wash cycle.
5. Throw everything in the dryer on warm.
